Hosted Railtour for Independent Travelers

This tour is perfect for those who like independent touring but need some guidance to reach some of the most beautiful sights that Ireland has to offer. This is a nine day/nine night tour of Ireland based on the theme from the Titanic Story. A pre night in Dublin maybe needed due to your early morning start on Day 1 (not included).

Day 1  
Meet your tour escort in Dublin at the train station at approx. 6:30am. We will depart Dublin at 7am headed for Cork. We will pass through Ireland's longest railway tunnel (1.2km). After arriving in Cork we board a bus. After a visit to Cork we continue to the famous stone at Blarney Castle and Gardens (included). We will also visit Cobh, the final port of call of the RMS Titanic, and the Cobh Heritage Center today (included). We depart Cobh by train to Killarney late afternoon where the evening is free for dinner and exploring. 2 Overnights in Killarney at a B&B property.
Day 2
This morning we board a coach to the famous Ring of Kerry. We will spend the day exploring the area before boarding the coach back to Killarney for an evening at leisure.

Day 3
We depart Killarney this morning and head north by bus. Our first stop is Limerick. We will have a brief tour of Limerick followed by a visit to Bunratty Castle and folk park (included). We will then continue to Doolin before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher and Visitor Experience (included) for free time. From here we will make our way to Galway along the coast road pausing for pictures at The Burren. Free time for dinner and exploring after arriving in Galway. 2 Nights in Galway in 3* hotel.

Day 4
Today we visit the Aran Islands by plane. On the Islands we will visit the Christian fort of Dun Aonghusa, with spectacular sea-cliffs on the western side and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. We then fly back to Connemara and drive back to our hotel in Galway.
Day 5
Today we visit Moycullen and continue onwards in the Connemara to Kylemore Abbey and Gardens (included). We will continue to explore small villages before arriving in Clifden. 1 Night in 4* hotel in Clifden.
Day 6
After checking out of our hotel we will drive and tour along the Sky Road with spectacular coastal scenery. We will visit the Derrygimlagh Bog before returning to Kylemore for lunch (not included). This afternoon we will enjoy the Connemara on the way back to Galway. Upon arrival in Galway we board a train to Dublin, arriving around 10pm. 2 Overnights in 4* hotel in Dublin.
Day 7
Today you have all day at leisure with a hop on hop off ticket to explore Dublin.

Day 8
This morning we return to the Dublin train station and board a train to Belfast. After arriving in Belfast, we will see some of the highlights as we then board a bus to travel to the Giant's Causeway (included Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge). We will have time at leisure before returning to Belfast to overnight.1 Overnight in a 4* hotel.

Day 9
Today you will have time at leisure. Included today is a hop on hop off bus tour of Belfast and entrance to the Titanic Visitor center. This evening board the train back to Dublin arriving around 8:15pm. 1 Overnight in Dublin in 4* hotel.

Day 10
Depart Dublin per your own arrangements.

This tour runs March-October departing on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. Rates are higher June-September.
